Chaand Kaa Tukdaa as the title suggests is the story of a extremely beautiful girl Radha. Shyam a young handsome orphan billionaire who is one of the top ten rich men in the World. Shyam comes to India for the first time to fulfill the last wish of his late mother i.e. to marry and Indian girl so that our roots remain in India with Indian culture and traditions.

Shyam who had come with high hopes to India to find his Chaand Kaa Tukdaa meets with disappointment when his father's friend Hasmukh throws a party in his honour. What he sees in the party is not what his mother had told him about India. Hasmukh asks him if he found any one to his expectations to which Shaym replies Uncle I came to India with high expectations but what I saw here in the party was a totally foreign atmosphere, I wanted to see India or Ram and Sita, Radha and Krishna, I came to see Hindustan where our culture and traditions come alive.

Hasmukh suggests that such India still lives in villages and small hill stations and not in modern cities like Bombay to which Shyam says, then let us go to a village or a hill station to find my Chaand Kaa Tukdaa.
